so i already had thanksgiving in Canada (which was great), and i wasn't really 'into' the american one. But at least the build up of excitement about buying/selling cheap electronics (because thanksgiving is all about "black friday" now) served to put off the build up to christmas. I'm sure in the UK Christmas starts in october now, so not hearing xmas music on the radio and in stores etc until now is probably lucky, cos i guess it is december now pretty much.
